JAPANESE-INSPIRED FRONT ENTRY

The relatively small, south-facing front garden of this property lent itself to a Japanese-influenced design.

Of necessity, the driveway needed to be quite wide. The introduction of a swelling and shrinking 'pebble stream' across the driveway served not only to add interest to an otherwise confronting expanse of concrete, but also to provide a link between the two sides of the garden.
