Drought Tolerant Native Garden
Located in Mickelham, this garden was constructed in three stages over the past three years. This garden has withstood very testing conditions being water-logged in winter then exposed to drought and hot winds all summer.
After the initial establishment phase of the first twelve months it has survived and flourished without any supplementary watering at all. The client has had to buy water for domestic purposes so there is none left for the garden unless it rains!
A true test of appropriate plant selection, good establishment and mulching.
