Background
Sandra McMahon established Gardenscape Design after graduating as a prize winning student from Burnley Horticultural College in 1998.
She applies her design principles to a wide range of garden styles, regularly designing not only traditional European gardens in various styles, but also Japanese-inspired gardens, and indigenous / native gardens. Increasingly she has turned her attention to the design of drought tolerant gardens using both native and non-native plants.
Her own garden has been featured on television both in Australia and Japan, as well as in various print media.
Gardenscape Design offers a complete design and implementation service, catering to all landscape design and construction requirements, from small courtyards to large country gardens.
The business has also undertaken the restoration of a number of older gardens. The highest professional standards are adhered to in all aspects of garden creation: attention to clients' specific tastes and requirements, preparation of detailed plans for all stages of the works, site preparation, paving, water features, plant selection and planting out.
